Aboriginal people and their communities are important to HAZCO through achievement of HAZCO's strategic business initiatives while providing mutual beneficial returns through HAZCO's investment in Aboriginal people and communities.
At HAZCO, we are committed to establishing relationships with Aboriginal communities built on mutual respect and trust through offering opportunities for participation on a project by project basis subject to the underlying business case when conducting work in Aboriginal communities.
HAZCO is also committed to ensuring Aboriginal participation when conducting work in Aboriginal communities. HAZCO is committed to providing locally hired Aboriginal personnel with on-the-job training related to environmental projects. HAZCO sincerely hopes that providing opportunities and training to qualified Aboriginal individuals will further enhance their skills, creating direct social and economic benefit to themselves and their community.
HAZCO strives to recognize the social, cultural, economic and legal realities inherent when conducting business in Aboriginal communities.
